This is Kit Kat. She belongs to my buddy Bill. He’s the one who rode shotgun when I gambled the RallyMetro, and rode a clapped out Helix with me while I gambled my Zum a 125 last year. I’m at his house to do the front brakes on my truck, but that’s not important. What’s important is kitty cat. She is very fluffy.

KitKat looks like the sister of the cat I had in high school. The litter was born in July of 1991 in my grandmother’s barn. There were 2 calicos, one like pictured and the other with grey instead of black. I named the grey one Max when we brought her home. My grandmother took the other one in and named it Erma. Erma lived until about 2004 or 2005, and Max until I think 2007. Two of the coolest cats I can ever remember.

Every single night, from early 1993 on, Max would go to my mother’s closet and steal a pair of Totes socks from the floor, then take them downstairs and leave them in the hall.  She’d then turn and meow at the thermostat for 10 minutes or so.  Literally every night at 11:30 for 14 years.

Here is my brother’s cat watching over the house. Protecting them from those damn birds

He’s only 9 months old but huge. Big boned and also fluffy. He isn’t a very smart cat, but he makes up for it by being sweet and cuddly.
